  1. 1kg tomato chopped
  2. 2 dry chilli
  3. 2 big size onion chopped
  4. 1 small size ginger sliced
  5. 8-9 garlic cloves (lehsun)
  6. 2-3 bay leaves
  7. ½ teaspoon black salt
  8. Salt as per your taste
  9. ¼ tablespoon black pepper
  10. ½ tablespoon cumin seeds powder (jeera)
  11. 2-3 tablespoon sugar (you can add more as per your taste)
  12. 3-4 tablespoon vinegar

How to make Homemade Fresh Tomato Sauce Recipe

  1. Mix all tomato chopped, onion chopped, ginger sliced, garlic cloves, bay leaves, black pepper, black salt, chilli into a pot or pan.
  2. Boil all mixed tomato and masalas well until to be soft.
  3. Let it to be cool for 5-10 mins (tips: don’t grind it when it is hot). Grind it well for paste.
  4. Filter tomato pulp with the help of strainer for tomato puree perfectly.
  5. Again heat the pan and pour the tomato puree or paste into the pan.
  6. Add sugar, cumin seeds powder and vinegar into tomato paste. Stir it continuously.
  7. Cook 5-10mins well on high flame until the tomato sauce becomes thick.
  8. Now homemade fresh tomato sauce is ready for serve.

Ingredients
  • 1. 1 Cup Rava/Semolina (Sooji)
  • 2. 1 Eno lemon flavor
  • 3. ½ cup fresh or sour dahi or yogurt (curd)
  • 4. Salt as per taste
  • 5. ½ cup water for preparing thick smooth batter
Instructions
  1. Take a bowl, mix Rava/Semolina (Sooji), dahi/yogurt (curd), water. Check the thickness. It should be smooth thick batter.
  2. Keep it aside for ½ hour
  3. Then add Eno lemon flavor powder in the batter. You can check the thickness and bubbles on the surface of the idli batter.
  4. Use a brush to make a thin coating of oil in the in idli greased moulds or you can do it by hand.
  5. In the meantime boil 1-2 cup water in a deep pan and keep a stand or base inside the middle of the pan like picture.
  6. Pour batter in greased molds perfectly. Cover the pan with a lid properly and steam it on medium flame for 10-15 minutes. Check the rava idlis are cooked well or not.
  7. Now switch off the fame and remove the idlis form the greased moulds or frames.
  8. Instant Rava/Semolina (Sooji) Idll recipe is ready to serve with chutney and sambar.
